Amálka is a 6-year-old girl playing with her cat in her own world and in absolute harmony with the universe.
But today is different.
Her family's sunny house surrounded by a lovely garden is suddenly constricted in tension. On this summer day, the crisis of her parents’ marriage culminates. Her grandparents are witnesses, helping to protect Amálka from the storm but also intervening in an already fragile relationship.
She has to experience abandonment, wandering, touches of love and pain. At the end of the day she returns to herself, only transformed by the loss of natural harmony with the universe. The harmony that we all experienced until a certain moment in our childhood.
And just as Amálka we all had that moment when we lost it and we'll long to find it again, consciously or unconsciously for the rest of our lives.
